Award Night Ceremony

Organised by the Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination in collaboration with FEDORA, a special evening in Paris celebrated Irish composer Finola Merivale and her singular artistic universe at Reid Hall.

Through Bones, Rocks and Jackhammers, a powerful portrait concert exploring sound, place, and memory, Finola Merivale once again demonstrated her ability to push the boundaries of contemporary music and digital storytelling. Composer of Out of the Ordinary / As an nGnách, winner of the FEDORA Platform Digital Prize 2021, supported by Kearney, she continues to develop bold and innovative artistic forms at the intersection of music, technology, and narrative.

The evening offered a vivid reflection of her practice, bringing together immersive electroacoustic works, collaborations, and an expanded artistic dialogue between music, image, and performance in an intimate Paris setting.
